Senior/principal engineer for a water, ocean or civic mission, remote or Portland

Forty-five years building: simulations, digital twins, geospatial, AR, LLM agents, robot fleets. I want a principal or research role where the work is for something real: rivers, oceans, coral reefs, cities, public goods. Remote preferred, Portland ideal, Europe possible. Not interested in ad tech, fintech or pure technique roles. Salary or a real retainer; not equity-only.
